I am so proud,of Brett Bell. As former Young democrat myself. And former instructor of Lake Tahoe Community College. I am so honored to be President of South lake Tahoe Democratic Club. My mission was to encourage young people to get involved.So I founded the subsidiary of the college democrats at the Lake Tahoe College. Not only have I increased our citywide membership,but we registered over 1,200 new voters throughout the city of South Lake Tahoe,Our club gives out school scholarships and we have food drives every year. Hello, My name is Brett Matthew Bell and I am a 20 years old and currently attending Lake Tahoe Community College. This will be my first time ever to vote in a Presidential Election. I am so excited to be able to become a part of history as a Young Democrat. I wanted to share this joy with others so I started a Brand New Club here at the college. Of course, I called it The College Democrat Club. It was some what difficult at first but as the election grew closer, more and more students seemed to be interested in what we were doing. It has only been about 2 months since we had our first meeting but we now have around 12 extremely active members and 25 interested students. Our current goal is to inform all the students on campus about their obligation as a citizen of the United States to vote. A New Project from the Young Democrats of America

With record-breaking turnout across the map, young people have made this the year of the Young Voter Revolution. What's now clear is that young people are a sizable and active voting bloc, and, even more, they are voting overwhelmingly for Democrats. Young Democrats of America (YDA) is launching the whYDA project to give voice to this movement. Young people are making themselves heard at the polls, and now they have a place to do so online, as well. We're asking a simple question: Why are you voting for Democrats? Users submit videos and written testimonials to the site to be shared with the world. It's an easy process with potentially dramatic effects: We are growing the Young Voter Revolution.

Our Goals

To bring together dedicated young people across the country.
To attract voters and members to engage in the political process.
To get young people learning about the Democratic agenda from each other.
To spread the Democratic values, agenda, and vision person-to-person.
To educate young voters about the scope of problems that affect the country.
To empower organizers with materials and information to motivate people in their communities.
