whYDA has a number of ways you can get involved and make your voice heard.
2008 is the Year of the Young Voter; the year our generation steers America in a new direction. Be a part of the Young Voter Revolution which is sweeping Democrats into power and changing our country forever. Pledge to vote for change on November 4th, Vote for Democrats.
You're young, you're engaged, and you're voting Democrat. Now let your friends and family see your dedication. Peer-to-peer persuasion is the most effective tool we have, and it gives you an opportunity to match your commitment with action. Email them, inviting them to the whYDA project, where they can see user-submitted videos and testimonials -- the content you and your friends created.
You want to make a difference--you want change. Now tell the world. Send a letter to the editor of your local newspaper telling them Why You're Voting Democrat.
On August 28, 2008, our Party will unite to nominate Senator Barack Obama as our candidate for president. That night, Democrats across the country will be coming together to watch and enjoy this historic moment. You were probably planning on watching the acceptance speech that night anyway; now, just invite some friends to join you. By hosting a Convention Watch Party, you’ll be adding to the success of that night by helping to build a Democratic grassroots network.
Hosting is easy. We've designed this event so anyone can host--new members or chapter leaders--so there's no reason not to take advantage of this opportunity to get involved. Sign up to host by clicking here and then get the resources you need to host a successful event.
